Accommodations

KATANNAH is a handsome, heavily built shoal draft cruiser. She has a Herreshoff style interior with white bulkheads and varnished teak trim. KATANNAH sleeps 5 below in a dinette layout. Storage has been maximized for extended cruising. Starting forward is a V-berth stateroom with a filler cushion, storage beneath berth, drawers, lockers and overhead hatch for ventilation. The head can be accessed from this stateroom.

 

At the bottom of the companionway to starboard are the chart table and the electric panel.

 

Galley

The galley is to port and is equipped with double stainless steel sinks, hot and cold water, Frigoboat (2004) keel cooled refrigeration, Force 10 propane  3 burner stove  & oven , new countertops. The icebox was completely rebuilt in 2005 with extra insulation  everywhere.  New digital temp control unit installed 2017

 

Head

The head is located on the starboard side. There is a vanity with sink,  hot and cold shower shower En suite and Raritan head Y-valve with Mascerator pump. Opposite the head is a hanging locker and shelving. he salon is next aft with settees to port and a dinette that converts to a double on starboard. There are custom lockers for storage outboard of the settee to port. Storage has been maximized on this boat with every available space accessible and organized.
