Original "barn find" 1999 42 Lightning. Delivered new by Reggie Fountain himself to a small lake in the mid west, this beautiful boat was never used to her potential. Dry rack stored for several years.
Powered by Mercruiser 900 sc engines (540 cubic inches, 900 hp) with cmi big tube headers and custom 5" tailpipes that were pressure tested at last service, Huber 1330 transmissions and Mercury speed master dry sump 6 drives (modified to dry sump by Colabella Performance) 18 x 32 4 blade mercury racing propellers
Full compliment of Gaffrig gauges, Gaffrig throttles and shifters.
Fresh water flush, saddle type auxiliary fuel tanks, sea water strainers for engines and intercoolers.
Engines just had a complete top end refresh performed, including but not limited to: new valve springs, new solid roller lifters, complete valve train inspection.
The cabin shows just like new, all interior vinyl is in perfect condition.
Sitting on a Myco custom built trailer, with less than 5000 miles, and only splashed in fresh water a handful of times.
