Deck

 Beginning on deck

• An integral anchor platform with an electric windlass with bow and cockpit controls handling the self-launching Delta anchor.A large forepeak is accessed through a deck hatch and has ample room to stow the all chain rode, extra fenders and line holders for dock lines. 
• Moving along the side decks is made easy with full length railing, raised toe rails, handrails on the hardtop and cabin top. Deck surface is two tone gel-coat with a molded diamond pattern.
• Entering the cockpit can be done by steps on both port or starboard side or through the hinged transom door which opens onto the swim platform. There is a deployable  swim ladder that is accessible from the water. 
• Just inside the transom door are located all dockside connections. Including dual 50Amp dockside power service with matching breakers, shore water hook up, hot & cold shower, courtesy light switch and engine hatch switches. In the aft cockpit area is a large hatch for generator access.
• Seating includes a large L-shaped settee that provides comfortable open seating as well as large storage compartments beneath.  ( Of Note:This area has just recently shown a little discoloration of the fabric.)
•   Between the fore and aft cockpit is a sink with pressure hot and cold water and storage beneath.
• The forward cockpit area floor is one small step up and this entire floor lifts electrically with a smaller day use hatch in the center. Seating once again is provided by a large L-shaped settee (storage beneath) to port with a removable table and a double six way adjustable Stidd helm seat to starboard.

• Ventilation is provided by 2 over head hatches, 2 wing windows and opening upper section of front windows.

Interior

   The Packet Craft, designed by Bob Johnson, gives you a well built boat with good accomodations both above decks and below.

     The living accommodations are entered through an acrylic sliding door with matching sliding screen that retract within the coach roof. Teak and stainless steps lead down to the main cabin where an L-shaped settee to starboard may be extended to make a double berth. A removable dining table may be stowed when not in use, opening up the salon for entertaining. Storage is provided in a cedar-lined hanging locker, in cabinets over the settee and in bins located behind the cushions. Master electric panels are built in at the aft end of the salon and covered by dark smoked doors.

     The L-shaped galley is convenient to the bridgedeck yet out of the companionway traffic. This area contains refrigerator with freezer, 2 burner electric stove, microwave oven and a large single bowl stainless steel sink. Storage is provided by compartments above and below the counter. 

     The forward stateroom boasts a large double bed with easy access from either side. Shelves and cedar lined cabinets are built in on both sides, plus extra storage is available in a blanket bin under the hinged berth top. Below that is a large cedar lined draw. Access to the head is provided from both the forward and main cabins adding a degree of privacy when guests are aboard.

     The head features a wrap around countertop. The toilet is a vacuum assist unit with fresh water flush with its own separate water supply. There is a bulkhead mounted shower unit with curtain and electric drain.

     Natural light and ventilation is provided below by 3 overhead hatches and 8 opening polished stainless steel ports with screens. When night falls there are numerous overhead and bulkhead mounted lights. The entire interior is a combination of light colored panels and satin finished teak. Salon and forward cabin sole is traditional teak and holly providing a beautiful contrast between finishes.
