The Aquanaut 1150 is powered by a single 2008 Perkins M1350 six-cylinder 135hp diesel engine (5410 hours last serviced by Aquanaut March 2022), shaft drive to a fixed four bladed propellor, single lever controls, fitted with a bowthruster for ease of manoeuvrability, with a fuel capacity of 1200 litres in two stainless steel tanks. Last out of water maintenance March 2022, antifouled, anodes, cutlass bearing changed.

5 x 12-volt 165Ah batteries, 4 x Domestic, 1 x Engine. Charging from the engine alternator, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, battery charger, immersion heater, inverter plus Mastervolt.
