1999 Ellis 36 Express Cruiser

Sea Smoke is one of more than 300 custom Ellis Boats traversing the seas today. She exemplifies the grace, style and functionality of a traditional Downeast yacht. She has beautiful lines and custom finish work in teak and mahogany. She was crafted by the team of Ralph Ellis and Raymond Bunker in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Her new owners can take great pride in knowing they have a vessel built by a family business in the USA that has maintained an extraordinary legacy of fine craftsmanship since 1947. The Ellis 36 design offers a bow with a bit of a flare and a fairly flat run aft for a dry boat with minimal bow rise. This offers a safe, pleasurable ride that handles well in any seas. The 13' 2" beam allows for a spacious interior including a full galley, head and separate shower, foldaway dining tables for 8 people and more. Sea Smoke features a 420 hp Yanmar which provides a comfortable, economical ride. A bow thruster makes docking easy. Her engine has been serviced and her riser and manifold has been replaced. First owner lightly used her in Maine and she was stored inside for her first 10 years. She has been kept in a covered slip and washed weekly for over 16 years.  Outstanding! Won't last!
